#12 -- Raymond Emerson (1819-1904)

Ed's Day Wednesday

Dear FOLKS,

Today I will introduce you to another of my late cousin, Edwin J. Ostrom's, family members.  It is my plan to, one at a time, share the stories and family research that Ed completed, adding whatever I can find as well. Last week we concluded the life story and anecdotes of Anna Olsdatter Stavaas, one of Ed's paternal great-grandmothers. We will now focus on the next person on Ed's genealogy Names List. For a review of Ed's genealogy you can follow this link... http://homefolktales.blogspot.com/2016/02/eds-name-and-genealogy.html.

This week we'll start the telling of Raymond Emerson (1819-1904) and his life story. Raymond is included in Generation #4. The Great-grandparents and he is the first from Ed's mother's side of that generation for us to study.

SOURCES AND RESEARCH NOTES (notes in blue) --

This Source List is the result of selecting and adding sources to the Facts and sources on the "Ed Ostrom's Family Tree" on Ancestry.com. This tree is "synced" with his tree I keep on my desktop copy of Family Tree Maker, version 2014.1. I used the report publishing function and created an "Individual Report for Raymond Emerson."

The source list that is provided by Family Tree Maker is not is presented in the book "Evidence Explained" format as defined by its author Elizabeth Shown Mills, so I am attempting to reformat these citations properly. I am still a beginner at this, so please bear with me those I get formatted incorrectly.
