Ed's Day Wednesday
Dear FOLKS,
I am starting off the New Year with a wish to all that 2018 is a good year for all. In the past, many sent along greeting cards for wishes for a Happy New Year. The following is an example of such a card.

I know it has been a busy time for many; myself included. A recent article I posted, tells of this hurriedness as in review I found a number of errors. I want to set the record straight.
In the article "#18 - Gunnuld Paulsen of Kittilsrud (1801-1875)," I included the wrong person in the lists of descendants. I listed the first descendant as Gunnuld's "son" instead of daughter and then I included the wrong name for his daughter.... yikes!
The following is now double and triple checked.
Cousin Ed descended through:
* Gunnuld Paulsen's daughter, #9 on the Name List, Toline Gunnuldsdatter Paulson (1846-1934)
* to Toline's son, #4 on the Name List, Oscar Ostrom (1884-1973)
* to Oscar's son, #2 on the Name List, Edwin "Tom" Ostrom (1911-2007)
* to Tom's son, #1 on the Name List, Edwin "Ed" Junior Ostrom (1944-2015)
Darlene descends through:
** Gunnuld Paulsen's daughter, #9 on the Name List, Toline Gunnuldsdatter Paulson (1846-1934)
** Toline's's daughter, Anna Malene Ostrom (1877-1959)
** to her daughter, Olena Marie Haner (1903-1996)
** to her son, William Richard Johnson (1930-2010)
** to William's daughter, Darlene Marie Johnson (1946- )

Discovery of this set of mistakes made me realize that I need to slow down, double check my work with my brain engaged. It may take less "copy and paste" actions to make that happen, as that is where I got into trouble with this set of mistakes.
This is so important that I am making it my New Year's Resolution. I want to practice proper techniques to issue quality work that does not include silly mistakes.
Have you made a New Year's Resolution?
Thank you for stopping by today. Hope your week is going well.
