#19 - Gunnild Johnsdatter (1818-1890)

Dear FOLKS,

Today, I am pleased to introduce you to Gunnild Johnsdatter, wife of Gunnuld Paulson. Gunnild is another from my late cousin Ed Ostrom's family chart. For a review of Ed's genealogy click here.

It also pleases me to share this life story because Gunnild Johnsdatter is an ancestor that cousin Ed and I share. Gunnild as born in Norway, at the family farm called Sættendal near Lunde, Telemark, Norway and late in life she would decide to begin an adventure. I am not sure if I am made of the right stuff to be as brave as she was. Let's take a look at some of the details of her life.

Gunnild Johnsdatter (1818-1890). Gunnild was my cousin Ed's 2x great-grandmother, on his father's side. Gunnild is also a direct ancestress of mine. She was my 3x great-grandmother on my father's side as well. Gunnild is #19 on Ed's ancestor Name List, and she married #18 Gunnuld Paulsen in 1839.
